Nintendo loses 25.5 billion Yen in Q2 2011

Following a bold price cut for its Nintendo 3DS system, Nintendo has revealed its second quarter earnings for 2011. The results are not very good. 

The Japanese publisher continues to struggle to adjust to falling DS and Wii sales while supporting the launch of the 3DS and preparing for the arrival of Wii U. During the last 3 months, Nintendo has lost 25.5 billion yen (about $330 million).
